    CANADA

Text Box: After Camp, the call to visit CANADA was too much. And it was a fantastic experience. Along with Tracey (an Australian friend of mine), I got to visit just a little bit of this wonderful country at the end of its summer.

The longstanding invitation from a good friend of ours (Debbie) was an opportunity we were not going to let pass us by.

When Tracey and I finally caught up in Toronto to begin our Canadian Odyssey, I must admit that I was a bit nervous about the whole thing … It did not take long to relax thanks to my wonderful travel companion, the beautiful atmosphere of Canada and catching up with Debbie as well as traveling around on the wrong side of the road J (Thanks Heaps Tracey, hope I was not too annoying, Best of luck with the rest of the trip!!

Two weeks were spent there including a road trip from Barrie (Toronto), to Ottawa and its Parliament to Montreal and back again.. Absolutely fun J Go experience Canada for yourselves!!!

            USA – Orlando Florida

Text Box: Catching up with my Aunt Lili, Uncle David and cousins Gina and Nick without forgetting the most well behaved dog (Sasha) was absolutely brilliant J

After not having seen them for approximately 8 years since their visit to Australia, there had been some changes of course eg.. we had all grown up (not too much).

With visits to Disneyworld and NASA, hanging around the house to watch as many SCI FI shows as possible (never too much Star Trek J ), getting blamed for everything that went wrong by Gina, and almost scaring people and Nick at Disney when I got my picture taken with Kermit and Miss Piggy, it was and absolutely wonderful time J To be done again soon

Text Box: 13 years in the making, the return to Mauritius!!
What can be said for meeting up with cousins, uncles and aunts, grandparents … old school teachers … meeting the new additions to the family including new cousins, their wives, husbands and children …revisiting old roads and towns … remembering playgrounds, the school and haunts of ones childhood … even reruns of the TV shows one used to watch… an unforgettable experience, the ultimate walk down memory lane, a major case of déjà vu.

Its very difficult to describe or explain how familiar things were.. nothing really had changed from what I remember (that’s what I think anyway) or maybe I did not remember much to begin with..

The images in this area are a glimpse of the experiences in Mauritius.. wonderful memories, sights, meetings, experiences, emotions, sounds, tastes.. most of them inside my head but hopefully some of the images will also relay this too.

Thank you all especially Medgee, Alain, Flo and Fab for your kindness and love (plus the 5 dogs too J ) Love you all very much J Grosses Bisous xxxoooxxxoooxxx
