James Jennifer graduated from Sac state and was a RN at Sutter Roseville Hospital in trauma/ICU. Jennifer and Tony James tied the knot on June 14, 1998. Jennifer and Tony recently welcomed their first baby, Faith Gabrielle into the world! Congrats! Rebecca Antisdel Update May 2002:
Anyway, no much happened after the last update, just me following along
once again to another destination, only this time our luggage won't have
wheels on them, We are making permanent roots here, in Rock springs
Wyoming. It's a small town, about the size of Yuba City (what Yuba City
looked like 10 yrs ago anyway). It started out as amining town yrs ago,
but is now booming with the OIL Services. There are several Oil Companies
here...Rob working for one of the biggest. Schlumberger. (Interesting
fact...if you all have credit cards lookin the top right hand corner in
black it say the maker...Schlumberger is soo diverse they also make credit
cards (they made ours!), smart cards and is a major stockholder in Dell
Computers.
LOL don't mind me.... I am just braggin a bit on hubby's new job. We
just love it soo much.
The area here is also beautiful. We are close to both Utah and
Colorado. (great for skiing but awful once the Olympics start). Sweetwater
county is also full of interesting artifacts....has the Oregon trail and
the pony Express trail running through it.
Anyhoo, not sure what my long range plans are right now...I've just
about changed my mind about which degree I'm getting, which almost means
starting over. One day I will finish! Not looking for work right now
either, taking a much needed break.
We have 2 kids..I know I said that, but I thought I would repeat it.
Elizabeth (7 yrs), who is gorgeous and sweet and excetionally smart, and
Curtis (almost 5 yrs), who is bundle of energy and hyperness, but is also
the biggest story teller. (nothign like his daddy ehhhh?).Elizabeth will
be starting in 2nd grade this yr (hopefully in the advanced classes they
promised us) and Curtis will be starting pre-school again this yr, as his
birthday falls after the cut off.
Rick Arciniega Rick got married in the summer of 2000 to a beautiful
girl named Heidi who he met after moving to Covina, CA. They are
currently living in Covina. Rick is working at a local bank and
Heidi is an elementary school teacher. They spent this summer
traveling Europe. email Rick. Christa Baker Karin Barwick I am now Karin Warner (married Shawn Warner of St Paul MN on August 28,1998). I left WHS midway through my sophomore year and moved to Utah. I graduated from Bonneville HS in Ogden UT, and had my son Evan that Summer 8/91. Soon after my son was born, I left Utah for the Midwest, ending up in Minnesota (April '93). I attended a community college for several years studying early childhood ed, until I stumbled into a job with State Farm. I continued my education for another year, then decided I really liked the insurance business, so I quit school and have been with State Farm full time since then. Eli Bauduin He is living in Fort Walton Beach, Fl. where he works as a Finance Mngr. for a Car Dealership and raising his 5yr. old son. E-mail Eli Vikki (Berry) Laramore "Still married to high school sweet heart, Ken and going on 10 years! We have 3 girls, 9 soon to be 10, 8, and 4. We are also expecting our last in December, which we do hope it is a boy! Ken has been in the Army for 8 years and I have been working on and off. My time now is spent up at the school, working on year book staff, PTSA, Volunteer Coordinator for my youngest in Surestart, and between soccer and Girl Scouts for all three, I guess you could say I stay extremly busy! I have coached Girls Cheerleading for ages 6-11 rs, boy was that a fun trip!! I guess in the last 2 years, my life has been very busy, but we are very happy! Ken has been deployed to Samolia and now in Kosovo. We hope this will be his last!"
Update (May 2002) Hey, thought
I would send you an update on our lives!
Ken, Kids and I are back in the states now. We
finished our 3 year tour in Giessen Germany, which we
did not like! We have a new addition to our family,
yes finally a boy! Justin Gregory, now 15 months old.
We have been married for 11 years now with four kids,3
girls,11,10 and 5, and a boy 15 months! We are very
happy and have many more happy married years to come!
Ken is currently deployed to Afgahanistan, anywhere
from 6 months to a year, and we pray everyday for his
safe return, while I'm at Fort Polk, La. Working at
the school the girls attend keeps me busy, plus scouts
and sports, you never know which way you are going!!
We are very happy at this point in our life and
couldn't ask for anything more! I'm sorry I couldn't
come to the reunion, I really wanted to.
Matt Brixey Well, wanted to let you know what I have been up to. After we graduated, I worked for Wal Mart for a while. I went to Keflvik Iceland to get my high school sweet heart. (Amy Hutt) When we came back to the states, we got married Dec. 1992. We lived in Grants Pass Oregon for two years, We had our first son Matthew (he is 7 1/2 now). Then, I joined the Army and moved to Ft. Stewart Ga. We lived there for 3 years and had our second son Andrew (he is 4 1/2 now). Then we moved to Germany. We have been here for 3 years now. We hope to be back in the states by spring 2002. I am getting medically retired out of the Army. We may be moving to Salt Lake City Utah, Where Amy's parents and brother live. I will be going to school to become a Fiber Optic Tech. Amy will be going to school too, but she doesn't know what for yet. Feel free to email us any time. We would love to hear from everyone. Sorry we couldn't make it to the reunion. Hopefully we will be there for the next one.
Stephanie Bone Vickie Cassi Vickie graduated from UC San Diego in 1996 with a BS in cognitive science and a minor in theatre dance. Or as Vickie puts it, "in laymen's terms, I learned how to learn computer systems and danced my stress away". Vickie started working for a retail property developer in San Diego, then relocated to Las Vegas, NV. Within the next month or two she be relocating again, this time to Burbank, CA. Update: Vickie was recently married and is now Vickie Sherman! Second Update: My husband Jason and I just bought a house in Los Angeles. I'm the marketing director of a shopping center in West Los Angeles called Westside Pavilion. Jason works at Warner Bros. in nearby Burbank. We have two cats. Andrea Crabb "After graduation, my family moved to Tulsa Ok. I went to college in Springfield Missouri at Southwest Missouri state University. I graduated with a B.S. in Child and Family Development. Right now, I am living just outside Wichita Kansas. I work in Wichita at a nonprofit agency that is funded by the United Way. The agency is called Child Care Association. It is a kind of umbrella agency as it has 4 different programs under it. It is the central office of the Head Start and Early Head Start in Wichita, and it also has a Child and Adult Food Program and also the program where I work which is called Child Care Resource and Referral. My side of the agency deals with training Family Child Care Providers and Center employees. We also maintain a database of the child care in Wichita and surrounding areas. " E-mail Andrea. Catie Doorn Love Nope Nothing New has Happened except that I sell Mary Kay and Pampered Chef right now. My Mom did just go in for Breast Cancer Surgery but I'm sure everyone wants to her about me:) TK goes on a 3-5 month TDY on June 7th to a country in the Middle east that is as big as Kansas! I am suspecting it's private but I can tell you he's about to set up a new military base. Dante'is almost four and is little over half my size now (he's growing like a weed!). Nadia will be 17 months on the 23rd of May and I will am almost to the big 30, LOL. I have changed my Career field when I go back to school (if I will ever have time). Decided to enter in Computers since I have such a Knack for it and Hubby is planning on opening a shop out of our home when he retires in 4 years. Lori Drake Buchanan Lori went to UC Davis and Graduated in 95 with a BA in psychology. She then moved to the Bay Area and went to JFK University and received a MA in Counseling Psychology. She is presently a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in private practice in Sf. She married David Buchanan in 1997 and had a son in Dec 98. Robert is now 14 months old. Update May 2002: Lori then divorced David in 2001and went back to using her maiden name. She has joint custody of her son Robert who is now three and fills her life with overflowing joy! Christina Erickson Update May 2002: I've been married since
Sept 1999 to Robert Smith and have 1 son (Desmond 3yrs) and another on the
way (Jordan due in May). We are now stationed at Pope AFB NC (hate it).
I work in medical admin and am a SSgt, my husband is a jet engine mechanic
but is about to go to OTS.
E-mail Christina Theresa Faulk FINALLY, T.J. and Theresa got married on July 5, 1997 in the first church they attended together on Beale, AFB. It was a blend of a traditional Pilipino/Hawaiian wedding. After, they honeymooned in Catalina. Theresa says there are no kids yet and no plans for kids yet, but they enjoy taking care of their 5 nieces and nephews. They are currently residing in Sunny San Diego. He is now assigned to the Fort Bragg, North Carolina in the 82nd Airborne Division where he "jumps out of airplanes and blows stuff up!"
