This curriculum is designed to provide the student with the essentials to serve as a First Responder. Employers and service chiefs are strongly encouraged to integrate new graduates into
specific orientation training programs.
It is important to understand that this curriculum does not provide students with extensive knowledge in hazardous materials, blood-borne pathogens, emergency vehicle operations,
or rescue practices in unusual environments.
