On February 11, 1999 Dylon was admitted to Arkansas Children's Hospital. He tested positive for RSV. This is a viral pneumonia and is very dangerous because it can not be treated with antibiotics. Dylon has weak sick lungs to begin with so this is extremely dangerous for him.
After 52 days in the hospital Dylon came home, something many people thought he would never do alive. Through lots of prayers, some very wonderful doctors and more love than you could ever imagine Dylon made it through the worse battle of his little life and we were home again has a family.
I took pictures and kept notes of the days that were passing me by. And I knew that when I got home I would dedicate a complete album to Dylon's struggle. This album is not something I will always want to look at but something that I have to remember the hard times and to remind me exactly how strong my little boy is.
