Dear Trisha,
I am secretly writing this. I have just been assigned to a new mission. I hear that it is about a man I know not his name. He is going to invent a weapon that has a very powerful blast. He is heavily guarded. He is in an abandoned castle on the outskirts of Moscow. We have to penetrate the walls with the help of my teammates so that the assassin can kill him and steal his experiments. Tomorrow at 3:00 A.M. I will be in a plane and we will jump close to the castle.

Love
Edward,

I am in the plane now. Me a soldier, George the sniper, John the medic, Smith the machinegunner, Gordon the radio operator, and Howard the explosives expert

are about to jump. Smith says to me "Are you ready?" I say, "Yes I was born ready!" We are going to jump now.

3:19 A.M.

We have just hit the ground. I do not have much time to write. We have to make camp. George says, "Wasn't that exciting!" John says, "Not as exciting as it's going to get!" Every one laughs.

4:34 A.M.

We have finished setting up camp. Every one is tired so we go to bed.

6:05 A.M.

We have just woken up. We pack up the camp. We start moving toward the castle.

6:34 A.M.

We are about thirteen miles away from the castle. We have no automobile so it will take us a while to get there.

7:04 A.M.

Gordon has just made radio contact informing us that the assassin has paradropped somewhere in front of us.

7:24 A.M.

We have found the assassin; his code-name is "Spot". We are about twelve miles away from the castle. We are going to eat now. George says, "This food is surprisingly good!" I say, "Not as good as Trisha's home cooking!" Gordon says, "Not as good as my Gretchen's!" Howard says, "No way is this better than my mother's!" John says, "My Marilyn's cooking is the best!" I say, "But it sill is pretty good!" We are going to move now.

7:54 A.M.

We have found an abandoned guard post. We find a map to the castle with a blueprint of the interior of the castle, a first aid kit, and some ammo.

8:34 A.M.

We are about ten miles away from the castle. "Spot" has seen a Russian encampment with his binoculars so we will set up camp and wait until dark to go around it.

7:12 P.M.

It is time to start moving. We move very slowly and quietly! It is getting exceedingly cold.

7:34 P.M.

We have gotten around the camp. It is starting to snow!

We Just have woken up and are on the move now. We have seen an enemy lookout post. George has to use his sniper rifle to kill the watchman. Oh! No! The watchman has noticed us; he has shot Smith in the arm. John has to remove Smith's bullet and wrap his arm to stop the bleeding! I say to Smith, "Are you all right?" Smith says, "kind of!" John says, "See I told you it would get more exciting!" We go up the guard tower and eat the meal the watchman had prepared for him self. "Spot" says, "This sure is better than the last time we ate." Everyone says, "Yes!"

6:20 A.M.

It is daylight. According to the map we are actually ten miles away from the castle. The snow is up to our ankles in snowdrifts it slows us down a lot. Some of us are starting to catch colds but nevertheless we are tuff.

7:54 A.M.

According to the map we are nine miles away from the castle. Smith says, "Man I wish that I was in my nice warm house with a hot bowl of chicken noodle soup!" George says, "Or a big juicy turkey!" Howard says, "That wouldn't be until thanksgiving!" Gordon says, "Don't remind me about thanksgiving too many good foods!" I say, "Here we are talking food again!" everyone laughs.
