Joe Paul Vaughn
A Short Bio

Well let's see I was born April 1, 1962 in Trion, Georgia, US of A only a couple of miles from where I now live in Summerville, Georgia. It is a very small town in the north-western tip of the state near (within 35 to 40 miles) of both the Tennessee and Alabama state lines.

In my case a short bio has a double meaning I am 5'4" (5'5" when I where my boots which are the only kind of footwear I will ever own. Have to keep up the image of a southern cowboy, after all) I weigh in at 150 lbs and have blue eyes and the rest I believe you can see in the pics.

I am the eldest of the household and one of a kind I have no full brothers or sisters but I do have two younger (much younger, they told me to say) half/sisters that I don't possibly see how I could love more if they were full blood sisters. They are Cher-rie Reed 26 (married with a beautiful little boy named Brett) and Tammy Lindsey 24 (single) To see their pics, just click on their names.

I am a Christian. (Church of God) I was married for twelve years.I've been divorced since December, 1992. I have two wonderful loveable huggable kids,
Joey Randell (Randy) and Angelique Noel (Angel) Vaughn. (Here's the pic, fell free to hug the moniter, I know you want to)

Randy is 17, born May 5, 1981 and Angel is 11 she was born June 21, 1987 which was on Fathers Day that year. These two are the light of my life and I thank the Good Lord everyday for them.

This is a more recent picture of my son and his lady love Lindsey Ballinger. She's a great gal. My son, Randy, really hit the jackpot.

And here is a more recent picture of my darling little Angel.

I guess you could tell by my web page that I love comics. I love every aspect of Super-Hero's I collect the comics the action figures (The one's Toy Biz doesn't make or doesn't make to my satisfaction, such as Cable, I make myself. I made one based on the Ian Churchill image at the top of my home page, it looks Fantastic, if I do say so myself. I'll have pics of it on the toy page sometime in September. The delay is because I can't take a decent photo of it so I'm going to take him to a photo studio and have it done right.) I watch all the animated series, read all the fanboy mags and etc..etc..etc...I think you get the drift. I thought the sun rose and the moon set on Wolverine until that fateful year (1993) when I discovered Nathan Christopher Charles Dayspring Askani'Son Summers. I discovered Nathan had lost his wife about the same time I lost mine. Shared pain can be a great bonder (Is that a word?) and we've been Best Bud's ever since. I soon forgot all about Logan (And my former dis-like of Cyclop's) and had myself a new #1 hero. Oh Yeah (All the fanboys have to throw this one in, so here I go.) My first comic that I ever picked up and read was Marvel Team-Up #20 with Spidey and the Black Panther fighting Stegron. I was hooked from the start. I fell in love with this bold new world (Yes I'm a trekkie also) that I had discovered. I love them all but if pressed I would have to say that next to Cable, Captain America and Guardian of Alpha Flight were my Favorites. I've always loved the X-Men but they seem to have lost direction over the years. Whereas the Avengers and Alpha Flight just seem to have rediscovered theirs.

Now my web site awaits and I have bored you anon (Another non-word I'm fond of) If you enjoy it one, one-hundredth as much as I enjoy building on to it everyday, then The Askani'Son and I have accomplished our mission.
Have Fun, Take Care and as always...G'Journey

Joe
