Amusement Rides!

I've always loved the rides at amusement parks. Because of that, I have done several projects about them. I did a speech about roller coasters last year, and a presentation about amusement rides in general the year before that.


Several years ago (1998-99 schoolyear), I gave an expository speech all about roller coasters.

During the '97-'98 schoolyear, I did a year-long paper and project about amusement rides. My report was all about the future of amusement rides. For the project, I designed and built a model carousel. It has five animals: a bear, a horse, a pig, a rabbit, and a cat (with a fish in its mouth). There is also a chariot. With my dad's help, I made the pig and rabbit go up and down. I'll try to get a picture of my carousel up on this page, since a picture's worth a thousand words.
