. nice book!!! it is one of the best ones i have. so get it !!! i have almost the holl set of beanie babies but i do not have the real old ones....... but i did have the royal blue elephant !!!!! sold him tho. also have a sting the stingray in great conditon!!! But he does not have a hang tag but a tush tag. love to sell him so if you would like him e.mail me . well by ps get this book it is great.

This book is comprehensive but somewhat shallow. This book would be better if it gave recommendations and told how many of each beanie baby were made.

Wonderful Book I highly recommend this book over any of the value guides its easy to find what you want in this book. I even recommend that people just starting out in their Beanie Babies Collections will like this book as much as I do. Actually if the choice had been given I'd have given this book a 10 star rating.

GREAT PICTURES AND AUTHOR COMMENTS/HINTS! I thought this book was definately worth the money and should be a part of any beanie collectors library.

Everything the Beanie collector wants to know! This edition of the Beanie Baby Handbook amazes me! It tries to be as up-to-date as possible, which is difficult in the world of Ty. There are separate sections for current, retired, and Teenie Beanie Babies. The book also includes an offer to join the Unofficial Beanie Baby Fan Club, lyrics to Beanie Baby songs, news flashes, etc. Great photos, too! Each Beanie "profile" has the Beanie's photo and also lists its birthday, poem, and miscellaneous information about that Beanie. I definitely recommend this book! :-)

A great read with some of the best pictures I loved this book. I find myself reading it over and over again and the pictures look great. I just wish I could find the beanies as easily as I found this book. A reader from canada , 06/11/98 A good book for Beanie Babies! Very nicely illastrated and detailed but could have some more information on the Beanie Babies. I liked it though! A reader from Oklahoma , 06/07/98 too few facts and a lot of generalities, good pictures The book is worth the price for the pictures alone, and it is a pretty good source of dates, but beware the counts and prices. Price is too volatile be accurate long anyway, but these do not appear to reflect the reality of what I am seeing in the marketplace, especially the net. There are certainly better books. Rosie's for one.

Great Photography Great pictures of current and retired Beanie Babies, however doesn't list the newly retired Beanie Babies or the newest releases. For the dollar it is a good guide.
