The Unofficial Sports/Beanie Promotions

If your were lucky enough to go to one of the sport games where they distributed beanies with the purchase of a ticket, you also got a commerative card. Hopefully you kept the commerative card (the card given out with the beanie) in mint condition. Because when you go to sell your beanie, if you have the commerative card it is worth much more.

Because of this, these sport promotions are extremly popular and succesful. Every time there is one, and every seat in the stadium is usually filled up by somebody who is excited and waving their beanie in the air. So, there have been other sports events who want to join in all the success and decided to have beanie/sports promotion.

But some of the sports promotions are not legal and are not combined with TY. There are cards given out in these promotions. But these cards are not going to be worth anything since most collectors don't want cards that were not distributed from TY . To prevent this from happening , make sure that the sports event your going to is legal.
