Math relationships are not bad to understand if you know some of the relationships between the
operations. Addition and Subtraction are inverse to each other and so are Multiplication and
division. This simply means that you can check your answer in addition by subtracting one
of the numbers added from the sum and you should end up with the other number. The same
for multiplication, you simply divide one of the first two numbers into the product and you
should come up with the other number. These numbers all have names but as long as you
know that you started with two numbers and when you use one of them in the checking, you should
end up with the other as an answer to your check, you should be okay.
