Your skin is the most important part of your body. You must take steps to protect and keep your skin in its' best condition. There are three major types of skin: oily, dry, and combination. Oily skin looks very shiny and feels slick. Pores are generally enlarged. This type of skin may be susceptible to blackheads, blemishes, and acne.
Dry skin has no shine. It may have a dull and ashen look. The pores are not visible, flakes and dry patches are obvious, and is susceptible to premature aging. Obviously dry skin is lacking in moisture.
Combination skin (skin with both dry and oily areas) usually has an oil T zone with dry areas outside the zone. The T zone is the area running across the forehead, down between the eyes, over the nose and lips to the chin. The aim when caring for this type of skin is to normalize both areas through the use of appropriate products and facial treatments.
