Monuments where Kevin-Bruce Mahaffey assisted in construction

Prior to the creation of Wizensage, Kevin-Bruce was engaged in the casting of several artist's work. The most noted was Edward J. Fraughton and Dr. Avard Fairbanks Sr."The Doctor". These works include the Spirit of Wyoming, located on the state capital grounds, in Cheyenne Wyoming, the last Survivor of the Civil War located in Duluth Minn. and the Woodbridge Ferris Monument, Ferris State University, Mich. Edward Fraughton's "spirit" was supported by raising of funds by selling an edition of 10 four foot models of the final statue. Kevin-Bruce helped cast seven of these. The Doctor's work was produced at Young Fine Arts Casting in Salt Lake, where Kevin-Bruce worked side by side with him. The Doctor was active in Ed Fraughton's education, he was taught by both Doctor Fairbanks and his son, Justin Fairbanks. Kevin-Bruce, therefore, not only received training from Ed but also Ed's teachers. Fraughton continues the tradition of great monuments with outstanding figure modelling. Kevin-Bruce has had the finest art education with the best teachers. His skills are unmatched and are a testimony to his teachers. So why not buy from the best?

Wizensage has the skill and track record to produce large statues, under budget, and of the highest quality. We coordinate with other larger foundries for monumental work.

The purpose of this page is to demonstrate the foundry techniques of the artist. These works represent the efforts of the above mentioned artists. At no time does Wizensage state that we produced the clay masters or rendered them in clay. They represent past projects that Kevin-Bruce worked on only. Kevin-Bruce worked for five years as an apprentice and founder. He produced over 100 statues (est) for Fraughton and over 25(est) for the "Doctor". Thanks to Edward J. Fraughton for the use of his picture. Be sure to see his webpage.
