Management Training
The Management Leadership Skills workshop will provide the participant with proven methods and tools to effectively manage/lead a group. Participants will learn the basic skills of management including the role and responsibility of a manager. Some of the management skills presented are time management, delegation (enpowerment), staff development and project planning. In addition to management skills, the participant will learn the leadership skills needed in today's environment including how to communicate with and motivate the knowledge worker.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
In addition to general management, my experience includes many years of project management. Having managed both large and small projects in the computer engineering field, I can provide your firm with either short or long term project support. Project management experience includes both computer hardware and software on large data acquisition systems, portable PC peripherals, portable terminals/PCs, banking systems and many others. My experience in team building and management provide me with the skills to organize and lead a project team to success.
Project Management Training
The Project Management Training workshop will provide the participant with proven methods and tools to effectively define, plan and manage a project. Participants will learn the basic skills of project planning and management including the role of the project manager. The workshop will include an introduction to the use of a computer based project planning and tracking tool, with hands-on lab work. Some of the methods and tools presented include: how to develop a work breakdown structure (WBS), schedule and cost estimating, developing a Gantt and PERT chart and various project tracking techniques.

Process Improvement Training
The Process Improvement Workshop will provide the participant with proven methods and tools to identify a process problem, analyze the process and identify process improvements. Participants will learn how to map a process, identify process metrics, apply analysis tools and implement changes. Some of the tools the participant will learn through hands-on exercises are brainstorming affinity diagramming, process flowcharting and mapping, process metric identification, charting and graphing (intro to SPC), cause and effect diagramming, effort/impact analysis, and process improvement team development.

QUALITY SYSTEMS
ISO 9000 Consulting
Implementing a Quality System based on ISO 9000 can be relativity easy and will provide your firm with documented processes recognized world wide. If your processes are currently documented, you need only develop the Quality Systems Manual and make necessary (usually minor changes) to the current documents.
