1)  General shape of harp: Celtic, Gothic high-headed, low head, pedal-like curve

2)  Number of strings: any interger

3)  String spacing: invarient (e.g., .5") or variable by each octave (e.g., "3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 4.5 inches")

4)  String to soundboard angle:  anything from 22 to 45 degrees where 33-35 is the norm.

5)  Highest note:  e.g., I use c' for middle c, C for Great C, and c'''' for high c with changes occuring at the c notes

6)  Desired height of finished harp or longest string length:  e.g., I want a harp that will fit in my car's back, maybe about 46" max. overall height.

7)  String composition:  e.g., Nylon plain with SSN wound, brass with all phospher bronze windings, etc.

8)  Desired tension: e.g., lite medium, high or overall tension, e.g., 850#

9)  Tuning pin type:  e.g., tapered, zither

10) Distance between bridge pin & tuning pin at shortest string: e.g. 1"

11) Distance between bridge pin & tuning pin at longest string: e.g. 1/5"

12) Soundboard material/thickness/taper:  Optional; whatever you can provide may be useful here

2)  Accidentals:  i.e., some harps are tuned with b's, e's, and a's flattened such that levers bring them "up" to natural.
