* Where the rubber meets the road, so to speak. In
1972, Amsoil launched the first API rated synthetic engine oil designed
for use in passenger cars and the motor oil industry hasn't been the same
since.
* TSO - Series
2000 0W-30. The first one on the block to have one.
Several other oil companies now also offer a 0/30. As the auto companies
search for any improvements in overall fuel economy we will see more and
more of this new grade.
* TRO - Series
2000 20W-50 Racing Oil.
* XLF and XLT
-
XL-7500
Series 5W- and 10W-30. For moderately extended drain periiods.
* ASL - 5W-30.
Economical, extended drain capable
* ATM - 10W-30.
Economical, extended drain capable
* PMO - 10W-40 synthetic
blend, a compromise for economy and performance.
* AMO - 10W-40.
and
* ARO - 20W-50.
The AMO and ARO have recently been repositioned to take advantage of the
desire
for high anti-wear properties in motorcycle applications.
* ANG - (20W)-40
for natural gas fueled engines.
* PCO - 15W40 semi-synthetic.
A compromise for economy and performance in diesel applications..
* ACD - SAE 30wt.
for diesel applications.
* HDD - Series
3000 5W-30. Another first; lighter basis weight diesel oil
without sacrificing performance or protection.
Like the Series 2000 0W-30 Amsoil was the first to offer
this weight for diesel use, and we'll see it more often in
the future.
* AME - 15W40 Heavy-duty
diesel & marine motor oil. Extended drain capable, high TBN,
superior 4-ball and NOACK results.

* When you do change your oil from a petroleum to a synthetic engine
oil it's a good idea to drain out some of the old oil and add an engine
flush prior to converting. Naturally, it's a good idea to use AEF
Amsoil's Engine Flush.
* APF - Power Foam.
High foaming, butyl containing throttle body cleaner. Good to use
to clean out varnish in carb., etc.
* It only makes sense to use high quality oil filtration to keep the
oil clean. Jump here {Filters}
to learn more.
Change your thinking, not your oil.
