Pete's Tavern Sidewalk Cafe
Pete's Sidewalk Cafe is open every day serving lunch, dinner and brunch (every weekend) for the summer season. Enjoy dining and people watching in one of New York City's greatest historic neighborhoods.

The cafe has a large seating area that wraps around from Irving Place to 18th Street. These are the very same streets, little changed over time, that have been roamed by such notable past local residences as Washington Irving, Aaron Burr, Herman Melville, Theodore Roosevelt, James Cagney, Humphrey Bogart, Oleg Cassini, and, of course, O. Henry.

We invite you to take a break from the bustling sidewalks of skyscraper Manhattan and have a taste of Old New York as well as the best in traditional Italian-American cuisine and our Original Pete's 1864 House Ale.
