Hand Held

The handheld is a small compact gun that can shoot over 100 yards. It has interchangeable barrels that attach and detach as simple as screwing on a bottle cap.

Materials: (all must be sch 40)

1) 4' of 1" PVC (this makes two barrel sizes)

2) 2"x2"x2" "T"

3) 2"x1" Flush Bushing

4) 2 - 1" Male Adapters for Flush Bushing

5) 2 - 2" Clean outs (with threads)

6) 2 - 2" End caps (with threads)

7) Grill Igniter (push button)

8) PVC cement

9) Cheap hairspray (Aquanet is great)

Instructions:

Cut a 1 foot section off of your 1" PVC. This leaves you with a 1 foot piece and a 3 foot piece. These will be your barrels. Glue one end of each barrel into the male adapters and set aside to let dry. Glue one cleanout to an end of your "T" and the flush bushing to the other end. Glue the remaining cleanout to the top of the "T". Now put down, and make your igniter. Use the igniter plans as described in the RPG section of this page. I use the same igniter for each one of my guns. After drying, grind end of the barrels to make a cutting edge when you load potatoes.

To Fire:

Choose your barrel, and screw onto gun. It is pretty obvious how to load. However, spray only about a half a seconds worth of hairspray into the gun before firing.
