What's your water like?

If you live in Central or Northern Wisconsin, or in the Upper Peninsula of Michican, you can have a certified water specialist from Maher's WaterCare come to your home and do a free water test.  All homes can benefit from water treatment, and our certified water specialist will give you an estimate and explain your options for water treatment, all for free. 

City Water or Well Water?

No matter what the source, it's worth it to have your water tested.  City water is also well water, and its quality may vary depending where in the city you live, how far it has to travel through the pipes beneath the streets, etc.  Well water is notoriously inconsistant.  You may have rust stains on your sinks and tubs while your neighbor's water is iron free, even if your wells are both the same depth.  And digging a new well will not guarantee a solution; it's possible you'll wind up with worse water than when you started, or with different problems.  What can you do?  Have the water tested for free by Maher's for the most common variables: hardness, acid, iron, nitrate, and total dissolved solids.   And trust our certified water specialists to find the right system for your water treatment needs.

What IS a Certified Water Specialist?

Our water consultants have trained and tested for their certification.  This means that they have completed the educational requirements of the Water Quality Association and have earned the status of Certified Water Specialist.  A CWS receives bulletins and attends seminars on water problems and treatment, keeping up-to-date on the latest information through their membership in this association.
