What do you have to say about the binkalendar?

Below you can read comments from nice people I know who like the calendar (messages from mean but well-meaning people will also be considered). You will also be able add your comments after I get around to making this a place you can submit things. In the meantime, please send your happy, encouraging notes to binkalendar@yahoo.com

Ari in Washington DC writes: About a month ago, I was looking through my bookshelf for stuff to read and came upon your calendar, which I hadn't looked at in a while. I was enjoying the notes and drawings, when I was inspired to look up the saints days in November. I realized that one of my closest friends (Cecile) had her saint's day the next day, and was able to send her all the timely and wonderful wishes. I couldn't believe the luck of the coincidence (me looking for saints days the day before hers), but was very grateful to you. In any case, I would like to get next year's calendar when it comes out.

Bethany in New York writes: [Your friend] passed along some of your calendars....I think they're exquisite. I'd like to send one to a gallery some friends of mine own.

David in Boston writes: yes ma'am, you did give me one. many thanks. i love the art work. it was on valentines day and i tried to kiss your hand and wish you a happy valentines day.

Dina in Rochester writes: It's gorgeous. My friends have all been commenting on it. I would like another one sent to my co-worker.

Evan in Somerville writes: It looks fantastic. Sarah and I got our Tarot cards…. Keep up the good work. I'll definitely let you know if I find anything in the calendar that needs the kinds of comments you've asked for. Mostly I'll just be gushing praise, though!

Ian in Boston writes: [Our mutual friend] showed me your calendars some months ago and I begged him for an introduction so that I might beg for a calendar.

Jessica in Brooklyn writes: It's just the kind of gift a lot of people are looking for for an acquaintance or co-worker- something sweet and clever, and not too expensive.

Mathew in Cleveland writes: It's pretty darned impressive. Thank you, and congratulations on another absolutely beautiful bit of artwork.

Jana in Somerville writes: dekuji ti za kalendar. To je neuveritelne!!! Ty jsi geniius. Je to opravdu veledilo.

Jason in Austin writes: Yep you sent it and I got it. Like always you did an unreal job. It looks fantastic. I just wish I had half the creativity you do, heck a quarter of it.

Jeremy in Boston writes: I just saw your most recent calendar and it is INCREDIBLE!!!! I was so impressed. You have outdone yourself this time.

Jonathan in Somerville writes: the calendar looks awesome!

Jyoti in Brooklyn writes: Yes, yes, you sent it and it is beautiful. I have something special set aside for you in exchange, and you should receive that soon. It's good that you put that disclaimer on the tarot cards because they have become my latest infatuation. Should I go to work on Sunday? I don't know - let me consult the cards! No, it's not that bad, but really, they are gorgeous. You truly outdid yourself.

Nancy in Cambridge writes: I can't believe how labor-intensive a project your calendar is, and I am blown away by your illustrating talent.

Jyoteen in Los Angeles writes: [Your friend] just gave me my very own Binka Calendar (Binka goes to the end of time, 2000) after drooling around, not over, the calendars she has that you have created. Even though you have meant us to use the calendar, I can't bring myself to take scissors to the paper. I am compelled to read it just like a collector's comic books (of which I have more than just several). I just thought I'd drop a line, and say hello, and thanks! for making a beautiful piece of work.

Roberta in Brookline writes: WOWOWOWOWOWOWO! It is so great! I love it. I can't wait to get home and sit down with it. You are truly an amazing person!

Tara in Boston writes: thank you!!!! its very neat. i will enjoy reading through it as the next year proceeds. however, i am slightly disturbed by the ominous sign that not a single saint has his or her day on january 14th - my birthday.... is it possible that you do enough research to find out when all of your customers' birthdays are, and then systematically eliminate any mention of sainthood on their birthday? just slightly paranoid

Thom in Boston writes: First of all...thank you for the wonderful book. I will treasure it. It's beautiful. I'm so overwhelmed. Thank you. (Thank you also for the chocolate...it was yummy.)

Thomas in Cambridge writes: I'm a fan. I love your work. Thank you for including me on your calendar list. They are incredible. Collectors' items!

Yahlin in New York writes: you are so cute. your calender is amazing. i don't know where you find the energy!!
