LUNCH AT THE 57A CAFE

A good trip for lunch from the Charlotte area is about 30 minutes west to Rutherfordton Airport (FQD). Located on the field is the 57A Cafe. The owner of the establishment is Ronnie McKinney. Mr. McKinney offers a wide variety of food that is very reasonable in price. My favorite is the Cajun Chicken Sandwich. Friendly service and with an aviation atmosphere.

The 57A Cafe is open Tuesday through Saturday for lunch. The 57A Cafe serves 10,000 but only seats 10 at a time!
