Managing Personal Agriculture Farm  (Mumtaz Farm Kabirwala Distt. Khanewal Pakistan)About 30 km from Multan fruit market connected by road.
As we have a history of 1000 years  in Multan our civilization
and farming evolved in every era. I have official record since 1804.
rich farmlands of southern Punjab in Pakistan. In Multan our history books and documents  landholding go back long way . As
nine hundred years ago  Shah Yusef Gardezi came to Multan 1060 AD and lay down the foundation of our family.

My father Syed Mumtaz Hussain Gardezi modernized the
farm in 1949 by adding tractors (Cattier Piller D-2),Tube Wells
and Buffalo dairy farms etc. In 1971 I joined farming with my brother and father
both were kind enough to gave me free hand to do experiments and guided
me with their experience .We started Sheep and Fish farming. Cotton was
our main target. Land leveling ,Crop management and Seed Preparing was done under the guidance of Dr Lewder Milk (USA). We have added Citrus Plants mainly Kinnows to our farm .Mango planting started by the Local Experience
Tropical Development & Research Institute (UK) started their research on my farm in 1984 , later on Natural Resources Institute continued that project up till 1995. These researches uplifted the productivity of our Farm.

Now our major crop is Mango,  integrated with Kinnows (citrus) trees to utilized the maximum land and to get double crop from the same land.

Weed control is under trail by using round up (Monsanto) now a days.
