The 30 March, 1851 census found the family in North Street, Sneinton, just outside Nottingham.

Ellen Ann	unk	Daughter?

This then allowed follow up searches, knowing birthplace etc, which yielded the following in Radford Parish Records:

Frederick Tootell married Mary Burton at St Mary’s - 23 May 1819.

Frederick, son of John & Elizabeth Tootell baptised Radford 10 Sep.- 1798

This is where the trail goes somewhat cold and convoluted.  No John and Elizabeth were married in Radford and no other Tootell was baptised there.
