Aman is a team of dynamic management and financial consultants with a diverse portfolio of clients (publicly listed and private limited companies).

Reporting to the Board of Directors, I was responsible for Engineering Group Structures for IPOs in various global markets, Project Evaluation, Macro-economic Analysis (bond/currency/equity/commodities markets), Feasibility Studies, Mergers and Acquisitions, Budgetary Analysis, Treasury, Strategic Planning, Asset Management  and Corporate Restructuring and  Recapitalization Exercises.

3 major assignments completed during my employment with Aman:

Property Development and Investment Conglomerate listed in the HKSE, with other subsidiaries listed in the NYSE and TSE (2000)
- Liaison with fund managers and investment analysts in Hong Kong.
- Oversee the listing of New China Homes (NEWC) in NYSE.
- Involved in the negotiation, valuation and acquisition of a Set Top Box manufacturer (China) and an Internet Telephony company (Hong Kong).
- Engineered 2 groups of companies involving in Server Co-location Services, Internet Telephony, Internet Portals, Incubator and Venture Capitalist, for listing in GEM and MESDAQ.
- Advised the client in the acquisition of several listed companies (property developer, financial institution and chemicals) and about 25 dot.coms in Hong Kong, China and Malaysia.

Diversified Investment Holding Group listed in the KLSE, with other subsidiaries listed in the LSE and SES (1998 - 1999)
- Assisted the client in a RM150million debt restructuring and recapitalisation exercise.
- Performed feasibility studies on 3 resort, marina, online gaming and oil palm projects in the Caribbean.
- Divested several real estate properties, totalling about RM45million.
- Generated bi-monthly economic analysis reports to advise the client in the direction of their investments.

Petrochemicals Group listed in the JSE (1997 - 1998)
- Structured an Investment Holding company for Initial Public Offering and Placement in the JSE, raising US$200million.
- Secured a US$200million Syndicated Loan for one of the group's project involving the manufacturing of synthetic fibre.
- Secured trade financing and overdraft facilities for a subsidiary.
- Advised the client in currency hedging and cash flow management.
- Engineered a group structure to raise about US$1.2billion in Structured Finance and High Yield Bonds. This project was aborted just prior to the global roadshow due to the Asian Financial Crisis.

I was appointed the Chief Financial Officer for STT's investments in the Philippines.

My key tasks included seeking new Business Opportunities, Strategic Planning, Management Reporting, CAsh Management, Feasibility Studies, Due Diligence, Negotiating and Monitoring JV partnerships, setting up Corporate Offices and developing Internal Control Systems, Accounting Procedures and Computerised Accounting Systems. In addition to telecommunications, I also advised ST Energy on their regional power projects. I raised PHP20million in trade finance facilities and negotiated for telecoms and V-SAT projects worth about US$6million.

I developed close ties with international lawyers, bankers, government officers (Secretary of Defence), auditors and consultants. I was responsible for 13 finance and accounting staff, including a chief accountant and reported to the Board of Directors.

IHC was involved in the development and operation of power plants in Malaysia.

Since joining IHC at its infant stage, I was responsible for setting up the Internal Controls and Accounting Systems, formulation of Annual Budgets, Management Reporting and Project Feasibility Studies.

I also performed Financial Modelling, Project Evaluation, Information Memorandum (for project finance), Mergers, IPO and Tender Submission to the Economic Planning Unit, for more than ten power projects in the Asia-Pacific Region totalling US$450million. I was involved in raising RM70million in syndicated loan for a power project in Malaysia.

The excellent working relationships developed with consultants from Fieldstone Private Capital Group, CIMB, ABN, Mott Ewbank Preece, CMPS&F, Price Waterhouse, KPMG, GE Power Systems and Black & Veatch International enabled me to gain a high degree of skills and knowledge in the power industry and project finance.

I was responsible for six subordinates and reported to the General Manager and the Board of Directors.
