It's not often a Father gets to go fishing with his adult Son especially when each lives 1000 miles apart.
But, Mike we've been able to do this twice in a year and I'm so lucky. And this past weekend,
January 31, 2003 at Blue Cypress Lake near Vero Beach Florida topped it all.
Old Dad really enjoyed it all. Great company, great weather, good food and nearly good fishing, but it
was being together that made it all so special.
Mike, I'm really proud of the Man you've turned out to be and.every time we get together you've proved
that over and over. Your love of fishing says it all. Don't ever loose that desire. The talent, ability and
skills you have are an expression of your love of nature and truly a reflection of your boyhood. Whether
it's fishing the canals of Boca Raton or Silver Lake or Lake Zumbro in Rochester you proved very young
in life your love of the sport.
On your 40th Birthday, I'm so very lucky to have a Son like you.
I can't wait for the next time we head out on a fishing trip.
