• For Self Assessment examples for the Skilled Worker, go to Self Assessment Tools.
• Download the appropriate application forms from Citizenship And Immigration Canada and make several copies.
• Print any other information or instructions.
• Add up the scores from: Education, age, experience, proffession, ...etc. Pass Mark is 67 points. If less refer to an immigration consultant.
• Fill out the application forms.
• Prepare all the original certificates you have and translate the ones that are not in English.
• Certificates: Birth, Marriage, Degrees, Experience, Police, Proof of Funds, ...etc.
• Prepare a draft cheque for the exact amount according to the fees stated.
• Get Police Certificates for all family members 18 years old and above from all countries with more than 6 months residence.
• Passport photographs for all members of the family.
• An English Test is required to be taken by the principal applicant. Look for the British Council in your area for details.
• If you have relatives of the first degree residing in Canada write their address on the form.
• Send copies of all the above except the photographs and the Police Certificates, send the originals.
