The FIRST STEP in the counseling process is to assess your interests and skills. There are a number of ways to proceed with this task. At Lakewood Counseling and Career Center we use the Cambell Interest and Skill Inventory and the Historical Assessment of Achievements and Enjoyable Activities. This gives you a clear picture of who you are and what careers are likely to be enjoyable.

The SECOND STEP is to research the outcomes of the assessment and develop a plan for implementation.
