DRY HAIR: you should apply pure coconut oil. Then take a towel and immerse it in hot water. Wring out the water and wrap it around your head while it is still quite hot. This will help the oil to be absorbed better. Use an amla-based herbal shampoo and use very little shampoo, rinsing the hair well with plain water. Henna pack should also help you. Mix two raw eggs, 4 teaspoons of coffee powder, two teaspoons of lemon juice, half-cup yoghurt and one teaspoon oil with henna into a paste. This should help to condition your hair. If you want colour, leave out the yoghurt. Henna also helps to check greying, although greying is usually due to hereditary factors.

FOR HEALTHY HAIR:With regular hair care - according to its type - nutrtious diet and healthy lifestyle, you can have healthy hair. Use mild herbal shampoos, according to your hair type and oil them at least once a week. If there is hair loss, do not massage the hair. Weekly henna treatments will also help to restore health to the hair. You can also apply yoghurt, leaving it for half hour before washing it. This helps to nourish and soften the hair. Include fresh fruits, salads, sprouts and yoghurt in your daily diet. Seek your doctor's advice for vitamin and mineral supplements. Do deep-breathing
exercises daily.

You should take regular care of your hair with mild herbal shampoos, rinsing well with plain water. Apply oil once a week, leaving it overnight. Pure coconut oil helps hair growth. Use a good hair tonic or vitalizer. Your daily diet should include sprouts rich in amino acids, sprouted moong, kaala channa and yoghurt. Your protein intake should be adequate in the form of dals, yoghurt, cottage cheese (paneer), fish and chicken.

SPLIT ENDS:Split ends are caused by dryness and hair damage. If you have used chemical lotions for perming, straightening, dyeing or tinting, you hair may have suffered enough damage. Tying the hair with rubber bands, the use of wire brushes, excessive use of hair dryers can all lead to split ends. You should use a wide toothed comb till your problem of hair loss and split ends subside. Condition your hair with henna once a week. Add 4 teaspoons coffee, 2 teaspoons lemon juice, 2 raw eggs and half-cup yoghurt to the henna powder, mix into a paste and apply on the hair for half hour.

HENNA:Add 4 teaspoons coffee powder, 2 teaspoons lemon juice, half cup of yoghurt to the henna powder. Roast dried amla in an iron karahi, powder it and add it to the paste. You need not add egg, instead add as much yoghurt as needed to mix the henna powder into a paste. Divide your hair into sections. Take the strands in each section and apply henna on it. Coil it around your head. Do the same with the rest of the sections till the hair is fully covered with the henna paste. Leave it for an hour and wash off with water. If you wish to colour the hair, leave out yoghurt and add tea water (boil tea leaves, strain and cool the water before adding) instead.

DANDRUFF:Wash your hair frequently using a mild herbal shampoo. Use very little shampoo and rinse your hair well with plain water. Add lemon juice to the last mug of water and rinse your hair with it. Once a week, heat pure coconut oil or olive oil and apply it on the scalp with cotton wool and leave it overnight. Next morning, apply the juice of one lemon on the scalp and wash your hair after half hour. You should include fresh fruits, raw salads, sprouts, yoghurt in your daily diet and drink plenty of water. If you have severe dandruff with itching, you should seek professional help. Also wash your pillowcovers, towels, combs and brushes everyday using hot water added with an antiseptic lotion like Savlon.

You should use mild herbal shampoos in little quantity. While washing hair, rinse it well with plenty of plain water. You can also try hot oil therapy. Heat pure coconut oil and apply on the scalp with cotton wool. Leave it overnight and apply lemon juice on the scalp the next morning. Wash after half hour. If you have severe dandruff, wash your pillowcases, towels, combs and brushes everyday in hot water added with a few drops of Savlon.
