Makeup by Sisters

Jodi was the first to venture into the world of Cosmetics. Having worked for Lancome Cosmetics for years as she was attending a Fashion Institute in San Francisco, Jodi began to do makeup as a side business. Jodi is currently spending the majority of her time providing makeup artistry to brides in the Bay Area.

For Carrie it began even earlier. Always “the girl to go to” in her friends eyes for makeup- even dating back to high school! While attending college, Carrie began employment with Nordstrom Stoneridge. First working for Prescriptives Cosmetics, a company well-known for custom foundation, supplying all of those hard to find shades. Carrie then transitioned over to MAC Cosmetics where she found her favorite and preferred color line. Carrie gained enormous experience and knowledge from this MAKEUP ARTIST COSMETIC line and even referred her sister, Jodi, to MAC for special events. Carrie had exposure to all Cosmetic lines through simply through the environment that she was exposed to at Nordstrom. Carrie also worked for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics before leaving Nordstrom in 1998 after graduating from college. Carrie is still involved with MAC, as an on-call Artist, however spends most of her free time on the weekends doing bridal make ups through out the Bay Area.

These sisters have extensive experience that will benefit you for any occasion: weddings, photo shoots, proms, parties -- you name it! For a personal touch and a unique look, they can put that 'something extra' in your special event! Carrie and Jodi are knowledgeable in multiple cosmetic lines, such as MAC, Bobbi Brown, Lancôme, Prescriptives, Clinique, Estee Lauder, and Origins. They primarily use MAC cosmetics for professional settings. Carrie and Jodi are currently taking bookings for makeup consultations, weddings, and other events.

Carrie and Jodi will travel to you on your special day and that removes the added hassle of going to a salon or other facility. Consultations are available, however they take place “in house”, so you can make an appt., and depending on which sister you are planning with, Jodi is located in San Ramon, CA and Carrie in Dublin, CA.
