"Mister Missed Me"
APHA 1996 Sorrel Gelding
"Stone" is a beautiful sorrel gelding with fantastic bloodlines. He was shown limitedly (breeding stock) and in open shows as a 2 and 3 year old, in western pleasure and hunter under saddle. He sired several foals (and threw alot of color!), and due to my stepping back from the horse business, I gelded him about 3 years ago to just enjoy trail and pleasure riding. He is super gentle, a gentleman. Would make great horse for novice riders or a youth with decent abilities. He has beautiful gates, very smooth. I have taken him horse camping and done a fair amount of trail riding.
My primary goal is to find him a home where he will be enjoyed and ridden regularly, and not kept in a paddock or box stall full time. A beautiful green pasture is a must! He is just too great a horse to waste any longer, with me thinking I will have time to begin enjoying him again. Instead, I have decided to let him go. Another option I would consider is a free "care lease" to a local person within 100 miles of me. This would entail only an approved home...green acreage, shelter, not a beginner, and lots of attention and riding, and would require insuring him in case of death. This would be at the leasee's expense.
