The Schoolroom in Karen's Country Farmhouse
Proverbs 22:6
This page is dedicated to all homeschoolers...but especially my own three.
I hope you will come back again and again for great links to lots of fun!

As you can see, my children are very busy. I'd like to take just a few minutes and introduce them to you...

My oldest is Jessica. She was homeschooled for 1st grade after public kindergarten. Jessica went back to school with her brother, for 2nd grade. She is just finishing 5th, and has been steadily homeschooled since 3rd grade. Jessica loves the computer and has created her own web page. To learn more about her (or for your children to visit with her) you will need to go to her LOCKER.

Alyssa, my youngest, has never been to "real" school.
She is nearing the end of 2nd grade, and is an avid reader!

When she is not reading, you can find her at her make-believe CASTLE.
She would love to have the company, so drop in on her anytime!

Joshua is my second child, stuck right in the middle of two girls. He attended public school for kindergarten, but has been taught at home ever since. Josh is ready to enter the 4th grade.

He also has a website, and I would like to invite you to visit his PIT-STOP, but wait 'til school is over, okay?

Go ahead choose any book you like. I like to keep my books handy for reference. Any of these books will give you information on that topic. When you are done browsing the bookcase, check out the weather map and the globe. There is lots to see, so take your time. I'll be right here waiting for you, when you're done.

Oh! you're done? I think you may have disturbed the bookworm, but he won't mind too much. Did you have fun? Get lots of info?
Well, here is an article just for people who are thinking of homeschooling.

When we are on line, some places we like to visit are: PBS Kids as well as PBS itself. Did you know that National Geographic Magazine has a website, too? One of my favorite places is the Enchanted Forest, right here in Geocities. Check out these homeschoolers.

Now I'll bet you're wondering what I do with the twins,
when we are busy with school? Hmmm, that can be
tricky. When they took a morning nap, it was easy,
they slept, we did school. As you can see, they are
both walking, so now it is much more difficult to do
anything with them going in two different directions
at once, so we school during afternoon naptime. And
here they come now, wanting to be held, looks like.

ColeyNick
As you can see, Nick is quite a bit bigger. He was born first.
Coley's hair is darker and stick straight, while Nick has loads
of curls! Why don't we hold them a minute, would you like to
hold Nick? or Coley? I am sure they must be ready for lunch
and a nap about now. Soon anyway.

Jessi, Josh and Lyssa would probably like to finish
their work in peace. Where would you like to go now?

Back to the kitchen, on to the dining room, into the front parlor
or would you rather go outdoors and walk through the garden?
Then again, maybe you're tired of me and would rather just
skip on over to Jessi's Locker, climb down into Josh's Pit-Stop
or maybe do some make-believe in Alyssa's Playland Palace.

You choose, it's your descision. I hope you've had a great time
in my old farmhouse. If you came by way of a webring, you can
go here to continue on your way! Do me a favor will you? If you
came in through the schoolroom door (via a bookmark or webring),
please, please go to the kitchen so I can keep track of the number
of guests who visit. Thanks so much. While you're there why not
sign my guestbook and come back soon!

Don't forget is still the best place to live on the web!
