At the end of 2006 (2 days after Christmas, to be exact), we went to Italy as a family to visit with Steve's Ph.D. student (Chiara Benvenuto) and her family. Chiara lives near Arezzo, which is in Tuscany. We then visited Florence, Venice, Bologna, and finally Rome. It was a glorious trip! Below we have links specific to each city/region.
