Children

Children are such a beautiful sight.
They bring us so much sunlight.
Love that's so young and pure.
The way we once were.
But, how lucky we are now,
To absorb and enjoy this love so pure.
Everyday to be able to see
What they will someday be
My adorable baby boy
Shows love even to his toys
My beautiful baby girl
Who tries to understand this world.
Though they are such a chore
I can't help to love them more.
The little ones who surround me
Help for me to someday be
The person I really want
All of the world to see.
They copy what I say and do
Exacty repeating my every move.
Some people can not handle to look
At themselves in these little books
They run and hide everywhere they can
Not understanding, why they have
If we wish for them to achieve
Then ourselves we must change
Give love for them to receive
Our lives we must rearrange
Love the children and you'll find
How you can create a beautiful mind
Be what you truly are
And they will rise to a star
