Dr. Habeebuddin Farooqui and family

The Farooquis: Dr. Habibuddin Farooqui is married to Dr. Sheema Farooqui, the eldest daughter of Kazi Abdur Rasheed and Muneerunnisa Begum. Their marriage took place on on August 13, 1970. They have 4 children, one daughter and 3 sons: Umama, Zubair, Zain, and Junaid.
: Dr. Habeebuddin Farooqui is a surgeon while Dr. Sheema is a Pediatrician. He got his degree in medicine from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India in 1968. Having completed his internship and residency in general surgery from New York, he completed his Boards in Surgery in 1985. He is licensed to practice in New York, Ohio and Indiana.; The Farooquis migrated to the USA in 1972 and are now settled there for good. During this period, they lived in Yonkers (1972-73), Brooklyn (1973-74), Yonkers (1974-75), Mt. Vernon (1975-79) and Pelham Manor (1979-87). They then moved to upstate New York to a place called Horseheads (1987-93) followed by Ft.Wayne, Indiana (1993-2000). At present they live in Cinncinnati, OH; Dr. Habeeb has worked at several hospitals in the USA. His first job was as an intern at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Yonkers. Since then, he has worked at Misericordia/Fordham Hospital in Bronx, St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, Pelham Bay General Hospital, Joint Disease North General Hospital in Manhattan, Schuyler Hospital in Montour Falls, NY, VA Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Corporate Health Services / Parkview Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He has been working at the last mentioned hospital since 1996 in the field of Occupational Medicine.; Dr. Habeeb constantly keeps updating himself with the developments in his field. These days, he is also studying for a Masters in Public Health through the Medical College of Wisconsin.
