I was born in Jupiter, the youngest of five siblings. (no, silly, not the planet! --Jupiter, Florida) That's me when I was still a baby. Some folks said I was the "runt" of the litter but I prefer to think of myself as petite and sweet. Mom thought so too and she always liked me best. A few weeks later, mom said it was time to adopt a person and go seek my fortune.

This is my person. She came to visit my home in Jupiter and I liked her and decided I would adopt her. So I went home with her. I can't exactly say I lived happily ever after. Have you ever tried to train a person? Boy, it's hard to get through to them.

For a while she had me jumping through hoops. . .

Forward . . .

 . . . and backward!

. . .but eventually I got her trained. Here I am teaching her to feed me whenever I want her to. I just stand there and stare up into her face, thinking, "Feed Sheba, Feed Sheba." Now I just have to think it once and she does -- anything I want. Now my person is a real pussycat -- well, not really a pussycat. She's still a person but -- you know what I mean.

Now life is the cat's meow! I am treated like the queen that I am -- wonder why my person didn't call me Princess or something regal like that?
