On August 27, 1966, Peggy C. Dukes and William Earl Day were married at Lee's Lane Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. We had met at Campbellsville College in the fall of 1961. Peggy is the daughter of James Howard and Mildred (Turner) Dukes. Earl is the son of Marie (Tabor) Day and the late Faurest M. Day. (The Turners and Dukes were from Central City, KY.) (Marie Day's folks were from Breckinridge County, KY {Meadors and Tabors}) (The Days were from Marietta, Georgia {1860's} through the Cumberland Gap, by the way of Danville, KY to Lebanon Junction, Hardin Co., KY).
We have one son William Earl Day, Jr. (Billy). On December 17, 1994, he and Kimberly Faith Daniels were married at the Cecilia Baptist Church in Cecilia, KY. Kim is the daughter of Albert and Virginia (Page) Daniels of Harned, KY. (They are originally from Hart County, KY)
