My interest for family research started one christmas when I was listening to my grandparents and my mother as they were talking about my grandmothers aunt who had emigrated to America in her youth. That was about twenty years ago. I still havent found her but that´s more because I´ve concentrated my search on my grandfathers family instead.

If you are looking for a swedish relative, remember to spell the name with two "s", for example ANDERSSON instead of ANDERSON. Little history... Andersson is buildt of the name "Anders" and the word for son, so the name means "Son of Anders". If it's a woman try ANDERSDOTTER, witch means Daughter of Anders. Who said my page was not educational ! :)
