RICH CREEK SCHOOL SYSTEM


After many, many years of service, the Rich Creek Elementary School held class for the last time during the 1989-90 school year. The sixth and seventh grade classes were moved from Rich Creek to Narrows Elementary several years earlier, attending classes at Rich Creek for the last time during the 1978-1979 school year. I finished my 6th grade year there with Mrs. (Lavinia) Boggess as my teacher and Mr. Ron Skeens as the Principal. All Rich Creek students were transferred to Narrows Elementary from then on. Mrs. Boggess has long since retired and Mr. Skeens is now Principal of Narrows Elementary.
