WE HAVE A DAUGHTER!!!
We received "THE CALL" on September 8, 2003. Our daughter is 8 months old today. Her Chinese name is Lin Xi Xue, Xi means "Creek" and Xue means "Snowy". Her date of birth is 01/27/03 (mine is the 23rd!). She is currently residing in the YiHuang SWI in Jiangxi province. This SWI is located in a rural area and has been participating in foreign adoption for the last couple of years. We found out that she has always been in foster care and therefore not in an orphanage situation. I suspected this when I saw her photo, she looks so healthy.
We will travel to China in October, we are currently waiting for US Consulate appts. We will update once we hear anything.
