OFFICIAL SITE NOW IN OPERATION

"I have searched high and low for my old school on the Internet. I did manage to find Great Yarmouth High School but sadly it was not mine. It is an extremely well produced and interesting page though, a link to it is at the bottom of my page. It gave me the idea that perhaps I should start my own page and see just how many "old girls" I could reel in!!"

The above photograph was taken during the last summer of the life of the "Great Yarmouth High School for Girls" in 1957.

I didn't remember them all but with the help of Jane Freeman(nee GRASS) I have managed to get most of the names.

The picture above was taken one week-end in the Summer of 1953. They were my best friends ...Cynthia Saunders,June Reynolds and Maureen Brown..where are they now??? I'd love to know.

This is a picture of me in 1954..complete with summer uniform..not so sure that Miss Black, the headmistress, would have been too happy about the shoes and the waspie!!
