As a retired Air Force Master Sgt I'd like to thank you for your tribute. I am 47 years old and attend Concordia University at Austin, and will graduate this May. She 18 or 19 years old, they told me once but I never remember anything on the first attempt. Hi, this seems very akward, but I am at a loss for who to contact. I am studying for a Graduate Degree in Ethnomusicology at Bowling Green State University for future mission work. However, for one of my classes I need to do an ethnography of a musical ulture. Dear Sweeper, I don't know if Gidget told you...my son was in Desert Storm (Marines), and he landed there on Christmas Eve. Reading the poems, the tears started flowing again. Also have a cousin who served in Viet Nam (Marines). Boy, the flooding of memories is over helming. When the soldiers started coming back from Saudi, we were at the Bangor, Maine, airport to greet every one of them. A lot of Viet Nam Vets were there also, and a LOT of healing took place. I lost a very special man in Vietnam, due to someone else's lack of training.
