Allison's Guide to Collecting Pigs

There are many different ways of collecting pigs. If you are just beginning to collect pigs and you are wondering where to start, it is probably best to start collecting just a small area of Pigdom, because otherwise they will overrun your home and take all your money. There are many different areas to any full pig collection. You can start with just one. Here's a list to start you off:

Stuffed Pigs. You could collect all kinds of Gund pigs, or Ty pigs, or even different kinds of Beanie baby pigs. There are all kinds of fake Beanie Babies that are really cute.

Handcrafted Pigs. You could lurk around craft malls and craft fairs to find different kinds of handmade pigs.

Pigs by Material. You could decide to collect all wooden pigs, or ceramic pigs, or paper pigs.

Pig Stickers. You would be amazed to find how many pig stickers there are. They take up little space, too.

Pigs by Colour. If you really like black pigs, collect black pigs. They are much harder to find though.

Pig Clothing. Nighties, boxers, socks, t-shirts.

Cartoon Pigs. Pigs based on cartoon pigs.

Realistic Pigs. Pigs that look like their alive friends.

Pig Pictures. You could collect art based on pigs.

Pig Books. You could collect books based on pigs. Here's a list to get you started.

Merchandised pigs. You could collect all the stuff you can find about a certain pig, like Babe or Miss Piggy.

Original Pigs. Collect pigs that you love, because they're one-of-a-kind or very different.

Everything pigs. Once you've been collecting for a while, you'll start to see pigs everywhere. Then you start wanting every pig you see. This is where I'm at. I collect all kinds of pigs, mostly everything I can afford. This is the most expensive, space-consuming and in my opinion, fun way to collect pigs.
