Bouquets from Dorothy's Garden

My heart's a backyard haven
Where cherished roses grow.
Few visitors have seen them.
The gate was locked, I know.

It's been my secret garden.
I've planted it for years.
It took a lot of tending,
Was watered with my tears.

One day a gentle sunrise
Streamed in to mark the way,
And told me now's the hour
For cutting this bouquet
