In none of our families we had a prexistence of Crouzon's so we can conclude that both of us were a result of a genetical mutation. This condition occurs 1 in every 100,000 births! Lucky Us! Well.. we both consider ourselves lucky people.
John has never had any surgery performed but Gisela has.. She was born and raised by a loving family that ever since the date she was born accepted her as she was!! :) Both of us have gone through tough times due to our facial disfigurement.. but.. thanks to our "rare condition" we were joined together by "fate" - Well.. we are sure God was guiding us and made this encounter of two similar souls possible! Why are we sharing this information? Because we are proud of who we are.. because all our lives we've fought and struggle to show the world that we can.. because in our lives the true inner self was the main reason of our existance and what kept us going! We've succeeded both professionaly as well as in our personal lives!!
Our love is based on our deep feelings of respect, admiration, mutual inner strength, values, perseverance and true great LOVE!
