We believe that God gave man dominion over the animals and as such we are responsible for their care.
All our dogs are guaranteed to be bred by only dogs with sound temperaments, proper breed structure and good health including x-rayed hips.
Because we take pride in our dogs and accept the responsibility as set by God, all of our dogs are guaranteed for life. If for any reason you cannot keep an Amsel Ravenwood dog; we will take it back. No questions asked.
Seller certifies that this puppy is an AKC registered purebred German Shepherd of sound body, good health, and free of communicable diseases as far as appears to the eye. The said puppy has been checked by a veterinarian and was found to be healthy. He/she has also been dewormed regularly. Buyer is encouraged to have the puppy examined by their own veterinarian within 72 hours of this sale. A full refund of the purchase price will be made if this puppy has any defects. Seller must be provided with a written report of the dog's health problem from Buyer's veterinarian. The Buyer assumes full responsibility for all costs, care and shipping fees during this time. We guarantee the hips of our dogs until the age of two and a half years to be free of hip dysplasia as follows: Full refund of purchase price will be
made if this dog receives an OFA rating indicating any degree
of hip dysplasia. If Buyer decides the keep the dog as a pet it is required to be spayed or neutered. A refund of one half of the purchase price will be refunded upon veterinarian certification of spay or neuter. The Seller agrees to honor this refund upon selling the first puppy of the Seller's next litter following notification from Buyer. Seller will not guarantee the hips of a female which is bred before two years of age. This guarantee will become void if hip problems arise due to owner's neglect or due to any injury sustained while in buyer's possession. Seller guarantees that Buyer will be satisfied with the puppy purchased. If Buyer is not satisfied with the puppy received, puppy may be returned to Seller at Buyer's cost. Seller will replace puppy or a full refund of the purchase price will be made (Buyer's option). This Satisfaction Guarantee is valid for 72 hours after Buyer receives puppy. If Buyer is not satisfied with the puppy thereafter the initial 72 hours, puppy may be returned to Seller for the full purchase price. The Seller agrees to honor this refund upon selling the first puppy of the Seller's next litter following return of puppy. Registration papers will be furnished to Buyer when complete payment is made for the puppy. If payment is made by personal check or money-order, the registration papers will be held until the check/money-order has cleared. The Buyer has the option of naming their new dog with the exception that all puppies carry the name "Ravenwood," in their AKC registered name. Buyer agrees to register this dog in accordance with the time limits specified by the AKC and send a copy of that registration to Seller upon receipt. If Buyer fails to register the dog in accordance with this paragraph, all guarantees made by Seller in this contract will become void. One of the following paragraphs applies
to this puppy.
___ Limited Registration Contract (AKC limited registration) male/female pet. This puppy is considered to be a pet and may not be bred (intentionally or unintentionally). Buyer agrees to spay/neuter this dog between the age of seven to nine months. AKC papers will be furnished to the Buyer upon veterinarian verification of spay or neuter.
___ Full Registration Contract (AKC full registration) for a female puppy. This puppy is considered to be breed quality. Buyer agrees to x-ray her for hip dysplasia (and achieve at least an OFA fair rating) before being bred to an approved stud, free of hip dysplasia. Hip guarantee will become void if she is bred before two years of age.
___ Full Registration Contract (AKC full registration) for a male puppy. This puppy is considered to be breed
quality. Buyer agrees to x-ray him for hip dysplasia (and achieve at least an OFA fair rating)
before being bred to an approved Bitch, free of hip dysplasia. Buyer agrees to not tie out or chain this dog unless supervised for the duration by an adult. If this dog cannot be kept for any reason, the Buyer agrees to give the Seller the first opportunity to purchase the dog back at a reasonable price (not to exceed the original purchase price). If Seller elects to purchase the dog back, Buyer agrees to supply and transfer all corresponding registration papers and to supply a current health certificate at the time of delivery. Should the dog be sold elsewhere or ownership transferred from original buyer, this contract would become void (this contract is non-transferable).
Buyer agrees to provide this dog with adequate nutrition, annual vaccinations, and regular veterinary care. Buyer agrees not to mistreat this dog in any shape or form. Violation of this contract will constitute the Buyer's unconditional surrender of the purchased dog and all registration documents at no cost to Seller.
Because we believe in the importance of a working dog, you will receive a $50 congratulations rebate for your dog's first obedience or working title. A copy of original certificate must be submitted within six months of qualification.
