Extra credit News!!! After Thanksgiving, I will be starting an after school extra credit program. The program includes coming after school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and working independently on a computer with math programs produced by the school district. Any extra credit points they receive will be added to a test of their choice. All classes will participate in this. |

These students all received 90s on their report cards. They've all worked hard and should be congratulated!!! Hopefully, their grades are even higher next quarter. This is about 20% of the team. |

Unfortunately, about 20% of the team received grades under a 65. Most of these failures were due to notebooks, projects, and homework. Students must hand in their notebook and in a timely manner. Many found that handing in something was better than a zero. I've reviewed the homework that I've assigned. On an average, I give about 3 homework assignments a week. This should be very doable. Hopefully, we can work together to resolve this problem. |
