Superlon Worldwide is a major NBR / EPDM
manufacturer with 20 years experience todate. The plant located in Klang,
Malaysia, was established in year 1993, involved in a series of foam
rubber products. These products cater mainly for the HVAC & R
industries.
Product Process
Production facilities include mixers,
extruders, heating, slitting, packing, & a series of product testing
equipments. Factory is ISO certified, & products tested according to the
acceptable international standards like BS & ASTM.
Superlon Insulation
Superlon is a flexible & light weight elastomeric nitrile foam material designed for
thermal insulation. Superlon insulation comes in black or other colors,
& is available either in tubing or sheet form. The extruded
flexible tubing is specially designed to fit the standard diameters of steel & copper pipings. Sheets are available in pre-cut size, or in rolls. Several
items of ancillary products are also available like foam tape, gasket tape,
adhesive glue, weather paint, etc.
Product Features
Superlon’s expanded closed cell structure provides an efficient vapour barrier for the
prevention of condensation or frost formation on cooling systems,
chilled water & refrigeration line. Superlon also reduces heat loss for hot water plumbing
& heating, dual temperature piping & solar systems. It protects pipes against corrosion &
acts as a vibration damper.
Superlon’s inherent flexibility & high tensile
makes it ideally suited to the insulation of large surface areas such as
air-ducts, tanks, irregularly shaped vessels, & large diameter pipes. Superlon
insulation material cater mainly for the HVAC & R industry, & our
material are specially formulated to give you an optimum sets of product
specification data. On thermal conductivity, or K-value, Superlon products are
comparable with other brands. At mean temperature of 20degC, both have
recorded a K-value of 0.038W/mK. (Test report available upon request.)
