The Decatur Township Fire Department Cadets run just like the regular Fire Department. They have a Chief, an Assistant Chief, and an Lt. They attend training with the department and are able to ride out at the age of 16. They do their own trainings that will help them further on in their career. The Cadet Advisors oversee the Cadet Program but it is the officers duty to run the meetings; which are held every first(1st) and third (3rd) Sunday of every month at Station 71.
