THE TIME IS NEAR FOR OUR ANNUAL PILOT DOG CONVENTION.

THERE HAVE BEEN SOME CHANGES THIS YEAR DUE TO NEW LAWS AND HOTEL REGULATIONS. PLEASE TAKE CARE TO READ THIS LETTER AND THE RESERVATION FORM CAREFULLY.

 

WE WILL BE STAYING AT THE MARRIOT INN, 4277 WEST 150TH STREET, CLEVELAND, OHIO 44135, PHONE: 216 - 252 5333. ROOM RATES THIS YEAR ARE $74.50 PER NIGHT. (THIS INCLUDES TAX). THE HOTEL DOES HAVE A RESTAURANT AND A POOL. HOWEVER, THERE WILL BE NO ALCOHOL IN THE HOSPITALITY ROOM. IF YOU WISH YOU MAY HAVE IT IN YOUR ROOM.

 

YOUR HOTEL BILL MUST BE PRE PAID BY YOU EITHER WITH A CHARGE CARD OR IF YOU WISH YOU MAY SEND A CHECK TO THE CONVENTION HOST IN ADVANCE. OTHERWISE YOUR ROOM WILL NOT BE RESERVED. HOTEL REGULATIONS WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO PAY UPON ARRIVAL OR DEPARTURE WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD NUMBER.

 

ANYONE FLYING TO THE CONVENTION SHOULD COME INTO THE CLEVELAND HOPKINS AIRPORT. TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT OR BUS TERMINAL WILL ONLY BE PROVIDED IF INDICATED ON YOUR RESERVATION FORM. PLEASE INCLUDE FLIGHT NUMBERS AND OR ARRIVAL TIMES ON YOUR RESERVATION FORM. THE HOTEL HAS A FREE SHUTTLE FROM THE AIRPORT EVERY FIFTEEN MINUTES, BUT THEY WILL NOT PICK UP AT THE GATE.

 

THE COST FOR ALL YOUR MEALS AT THE CONVENTION AND ALUMNI DUES WILL BE $45.00 PER PERSON. CONVENTION MEALS CONSIST OF FRIDAY EVENING PICNIC, SATURDAY AFTERNOON LUNCH AND SATURDAY EVENING BANQUET. CONVENTION. TO GET REGISTRATION FORMS AND/OR ADDRESS TO SNAIL MAIL THEM TO; E-MAIL CONVENTION HOST

ANYONE NOT ATTENDING THE CONVENTION BUT WISHING TO PAY THEIR ALUMNI DUES FOR THE COMING YEAR CAN DO SO BY FILLING OUT THE FIRST FOUR LINES OF THE RESERVATION FORM AND SENDING IT ALONG WITH $10.00 TO THE CONVENTION HOST, AT THE ABOVE ADDRESS.

 

THE CONVENTION WILL START ON FRIDAY EVENING WITH A PICNIC AT APPROXIMATELY 6:00 P.M., AT A LOCAL PARK. WE WILL ALSO HAVE OUR TALL TALES CONTEST AT THE PARK. SATURDAY MORNING WE WILL HAVE OUR OBSTACLE AND OBEDIENCE TRIALS. OUR LUNCHEON WILL BE AT APPROXIMATELY NOON. THE AWARDS BANQUET WILL BE SATURDAY EVENING AT 6:30 P.M. AT THE HOTEL. THERE WILL 13E A BUSINESS MEETING ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON. THIS IS JUST A BRIEF OUTLINE OF THIS YEAR'S CONVENTION. FOR MORE INFORMATION REGARDING THE CONVENTION PLANS PLEASE CALL OUR CONVENTION HOST.
