No Spam

I'm tired of my mailbox being stuffed with spam. I'm also tired of putting blocks on my e-mail that not only blocks spam but also mail I would like to receive.

I believe most internet providers are good business people and as such do not want to be known as a safe harbor for spammers. Starting with that assumption, I am gathering a list of e-mail address to forward spam to the providers to allow them a chance to deal with the problem.

If enough people use this method the service providers will do something about spam, if only to quit having their mailboxes stuffed with spam forwarded to them. If you get 50 messages from the same spammer, forward them all back to the ISP they came through. The more they are irritated by the spam the more they will do to stop it.

Spammers on the internet will guess at your email address. If it's easy to guess at, ie "sam@domain.com" you will get 'probe' emails. They usually state "Reply with REMOVE in the subject line to get off this list." If you follow their instructions, YOU WILL NOT BE REMOVED. Usually instead they take your now VERIFIED email address and sell it off to a premium mailing list, making money. At that point the spam in your mailbox usually will increase by a large amount. I highly recommend not replying to any spam you receive.. One more suggestion. If Spammers are not the one's originating the bogus "Virus Warning" messages, they sure do like to receive them. Just think, a message forwarded dozens of tines with dozens of e-mail address on each forward. Goldmine for Sale. Click HERE for more information.

If you are receiving spam from spammers using the following providers, forward that spam unedited to the providers address. If you are using AOL forward all spam to the AOL address. If you have an address I can add to the list E-mail me at 2trees@usa.net

Two Trees

The List

TOSspam@aol.com

spam@earthlink.net

abuse@netcom.com

abuse@hotmail.com

msnabuse@microsoft.com

abuse@postmaster.compuserve.com

To report span to Uncle Sam "uce@ftc.gov"

If no address is listed for the provider try:

support@"domain"

postmaster@"domain"

abuse@"domain"

spam@"domain"

where "domain" is the ISP. Most ISPs will have an address that match one of these.

Feel free to link to this site, and tell your friends about it. Even better add the list to your web page.
