Her
paintings were sold all over the United States having followers who collected only her
art. She painted every style from landscapes to portraits to whimsical. Most of her
landscapes of mountains, rivers and blooming fields were places in her mind that she
wanted to be. They were of no place in particular and of all places.
The
1960s and 70s had her busy with her own art supply store, an art gallery, a
picture frame shop and teaching 100 art students a week while also painting pictures for
her agent to take across the United States. "Cherries Studio" was located
in West University (Houston), Texas and her other locations were around the Houston area. |
